Subscription
On receipt by us of payment in advance in cleared funds of your subscription fees
for the first quarter, you will be able to access all of the content on the site.
Further quarterly payments should be made by standing order from your bank account,
or via Worldpay.
Subscriptions are for an initial minimum duration of 12
months, terminable by 3 months' notice after that.
Access
Your user ID and password are personal to your company, firm or organisation
and you agree not to disclose the same to any third party nor to allow any
third party to use your subscriber information to access the areas of
the site reserved to subscribers only.

Helpline
If you bought a subscription which includes the helpline, this entitles you to obtain
advice via email or telephone access to the BusinessHR advisory team for an agreed
number of hours per year. This is shown in your subscription agreement.
Should you email your query to us, we commit to respond to you by email within
one working day.
It is our standard procedure to confirm all advice given by email. The total time
spent dealing with your enquiries, including preparing the summary emails, updating
the details of your enquiries, following up open enquiries and providing any reports
you request on your helpline usage will be recorded against your account.
Any use of our helpline for the benefit of other parties, whether for payment
or not, is not authorised unless you hold a partnership agreement with us.
Our liability is limited to our individual subscribers, not to any third parties to
whom the information is passed on.
Please note: any other helplines accessed directly or indirectly via this website may be
subject to the payment of separate charges for which you will be responsible.
Liability
We undertake to provide the services offered on this website with reasonable
care and skill and to use our reasonable endeavours to correct any errors in
the services as promptly as possible. We do not warrant that availability or
delivery of the services will be uninterrupted or error-free.
In the event that we fail to comply with our undertaking above having been
given a reasonable opportunity to correct such failure, our aggregate
liability to you for all losses, damages, costs and claims and expenses
howsoever arising shall not exceed the total subscription fee paid by you in
respect of the twelve month period prior to the date on which such failure
occurred.
In no event will we be liable to you for:
- any consequential or indirect loss or damage (whether for loss of
profits, including loss of profits or anticipated profits on contracts,
business revenue, goodwill or otherwise) howsoever arising out of or in
connection with your use of this website and its contents, or our helpline; or
- any loss, damages, costs, claims or expenses incurred as a result of any
customisation of or amendment made by you to any of the template
documents available on this site.
If a court or any other body having the power to rule on disputes, decides
that any part of these Terms and Conditions is not reasonable or cannot be
enforced, this will not affect the validity of other parts of these Terms and
Conditions which will continue in full force and effect.
Refunds
Refunds will be given at the discretion of the company management.
Governing law
These terms and conditions and your use of the website are governed by English
law and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
