The BusinessHR executive team
David Lennan (Managing Director)
David has enjoyed a career in both the private and public sectors, holding
executive roles in national business representative organisations, local government,
financial services and human resource development. He has held Personnel Director
roles in several organisations and specialises in helping businesses create growth and
in productivity improvement.
His career activities have included Chief Executive of the Agricultural Industries
Confederation and Director General of the British Chambers of Commerce. As a
Director at Surrey County Council, he led the modernisation programme, and during
his time with the NatWest Group he held roles which included Head of UK
Development, Deputy Director of Personnel and Director of Retail Insurance.
David now runs the BusinessHR team and aims to develop the company
into a leading provider of personnel services to the SME business community.
Terry Edney (Chief Operating Officer)
Terry gained a bachelors degree in finance and then developed a successful
career in HR and was HR Director for two leading IT companies.
He subsequently moved into executive management where he was involved
in business turnarounds and acquisitions in the UK and the USA. He was also
Marketing SVP for a US IT outsourcing company, leading a team which created a
new global IT services product.
Terry has used this wide expertise to conduct consulting projects in the UK,
Europe, the Middle East and the USA focussing on reorganisation and business
development. Terry has a Masters Degree in Employment Law and is a Fellow of the
Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

Our advisory team possesses a broad range of experience
across all sectors, including finance and banking, manufacturing and production,
healthcare, transport and distribution, accountancy and broadcasting, within both
the public and private sectors, and within both unionised and non-unionised
environments. Our HR Advisors are all MCIPD qualified, with practical experience of
